Rabit Capsule is a combination medicine used for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD / Acid Reflux) and Peptic Ulcer Disease. It helps relieve symptoms of excess acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, acid regurgitation, bloating, and irritation. By reducing stomach acid and improving digestive movement, it provides effective relief from gastric discomfort and promotes better digestion.
Rabit Capsule should be taken in the dose and duration prescribed by the physician. The dosage depends on the patient’s condition and response to treatment. It is important to continue the medicine for the full prescribed period, as stopping it early may cause symptoms to return or worsen. Inform your doctor about any other medicines you are taking, as some medicines may interact with this product.
Common side effects may include stomach pain, diarrhea, constipation, headache, flatulence, weakness, and increased saliva production. These side effects are usually mild and temporary. If any side effect persists or becomes bothersome, consult your doctor immediately.
This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness; therefore, avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you. Alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment as it may increase drowsiness. Lifestyle changes such as avoiding spicy foods, hot tea, coffee, and chocolate may help improve treatment results.

- Peptic Ulcer Disease
- Acid-related indigestion and gastric discomfort
Benefits of Rabit Capsule
In Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD / Acid Reflux)
GERD is a long-term condition caused by excessive acid production in the stomach. Rabit Capsule reduces acid secretion, providing relief from heartburn and preventing irritation of the food pipe. For best results, take the medicine exactly as prescribed. Lifestyle modifications such as eating smaller meals, avoiding trigger foods, maintaining a healthy weight, and not eating close to bedtime can help reduce symptoms.
In Peptic Ulcer Disease
Peptic ulcer disease causes painful sores in the lining of the stomach or intestine. Rabit Capsule lowers stomach acid levels, allowing ulcers to heal naturally and preventing further damage. Continue the medication for the prescribed duration even if symptoms improve.
How to Use Rabit Capsule
Take Rabit Capsule on an empty stomach, or as directed by your physician. Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not open, crush, or chew the capsule.
How Rabit Capsule Works
Rabit Capsule is a combination of two medicines:
Rabeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI), which reduces the production of stomach acid and relieves acid-related symptoms.
Itopride, a prokinetic agent, which improves the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food pass smoothly and reducing bloating and discomfort.
